Pyr'al-aih

Pyr’al-aih is the industrial part of Chiaroscuro, where the soot from forges pours out and into the lungs of the peasants who man the bellows and forges. Distilleries and mills and small workshops crowd into each other and the roar of industry continues into the night.

The smoke from Pyr’al-aih drifts south and into the Asshole, adding another layer of misery for the beggars that live there. To the north is the river Bahash’ai, crossed by the Ishpajit Bridge, the largest in the city, which connects the district to the Bazaar. To the east is the Old Fire, a shadowland, and the gallows that lie just outside it.
